Pastor”]
I moved from Oklahoma to the Austin area in 1999 when I was in third grade. I was invited by a friend, Brandon Hughes, to attend this church. Brandon is still a great, Christian friend to this day. As a child, I accepted the Lord as my Savior in the front pew at the church I am now blessed to Pastor. I was called to be a youth pastor when I was a freshman in high school. I had a few rebellious years in middle school and high school, but God instilled a passion for me to follow my calling. I went to Marry-Hardin Baylor where I received my degree in Religion. As a senior in college, I started my first youth pastor job. Leading youth to follow after God has and will always be a passion for me.
On March 26, 2011, I married the most beautiful, patient, supportive, and Godly woman I know (sorry mom). Dawn and I met at a Bible study where two friends set us up, without either of us knowing.
On February 22, 2013, God blessed us with our first son Barrett. God is good, and Dawn is due in June 2015 with our second son.
After 12 years in youth ministry, I started feeling a call to serve the Lord as pastor of Marshall Ford Fellowship. This church has always been about family and missions, which is why I have been so attracted to serve here.
I have seen this church grow from a merger of two local churches, Fellowship of Lake Travis and Marshall Ford Baptist Church, into the current Marshall Ford Fellowship. This has been my home since I was 9 years old and I can faithfully say Marshall Ford Fellowship is full of God’s best disciples, missionaries, mothers, fathers, grandparents, and kids. This is a church where everyone knows your name, your childrens’ name and most likely is important to Dawn and me. A church that teaches the Love and the Grace of our Lord and Savior is important to me. Marshall Ford Fellowship is a church that dedicates itself to Community and Foreign missions with the passion and the talents God gave each of us. I am so blessed to be the pastor of such an amazing group of believers.
